Message #07595
[Bug 1931781] [NEW] Only get 1/4 of panorama in preview window
Public bug reported:
After adding images, creating control points and then going to Fast
Panorama preview window to Align, the displayed image is only 1/4 of the
resulting panorama (lower left). If I click and "almost" drag one of the
field of view sliders (either H or V), the whole panorama is displayed
but only in the same 1/4 of the preview window. However, performing any
further action resorts the scene to the 1/4 of the image. So I can no
longer manually crop a panorama because I can't see the whole scene. I
can't easily assess whether horizons are straight either.
This occurs no matter what I do, even after optimising geometric
parameters. It occurs with all projection types. Sometimes when
switching between tabs in the Fast Panorama preview window, the whole
image flashes up before reducing to the 1/4 view (but still only in the
lower left 1/4 space of the preview).
Note 1: This happens with every project.
Note 2: I have had this issue for a while and lived with it, but a
recent panorama was giving odd auto crop results and would not fit
within the preview window and I could not manually fix it.
Note 3: The whole scene IS rendered in the output panorama (e.g., if
"Calculate field of view", "Calculate optimal size" and "Fit crop to
images" are invoked in the Stitcher Tab before stitching.
Note 4: I am using the latest version available to me
(2019.2.0.b690aa0334b5, re-downloaded and reinstalled today) (see Note
5).
Note 5: The link to the "2020" release directs to, and downloads,
version 2019.2.0 (see Note 4).
Any help on fixing this greatly appreciated!
Dougal.
