Thanks, I had completely missed that there were new vigra releases, the
landing page at https://ukoethe.github.io/vigra/ hasn't been updated
since 2017.

I do some builds and close this bug if it resolves the problem.

  C++17 errors

Bug description:
  The current default branch fails on fedora 41 (default on fedora 40 is
  ok, and 2024.0.0 on fedora 41 is ok).

  In both cases, gcc, boost and cmake are the same: gcc-14.2.1,
  boost-1.83.0, cmake-3.30.5
