Intel has just announced the intel bits, a testing framework for bios

it caught my eye this part:

you can override your BIOS's initialization with a known-good
configuration."

Could it be useful to use this tools to modify the bios state in software to
enable or disable for good the discrete or the integrated card?

This goes way beyond my head, so someone could give us a clue on this :)
