VirtualGL (that bumblebee installs unless I'm mistaken) is designed for
running opengl apps over the network and thus optimized for using a much
lower bandwidth than you can achieve with local ram (Mbits/s vs. GBytes/s).
hybrid-windump is more like a primitive VNC which just copies one entire
desktop onto a window on another screen, no smart compression schemes or
anything.
