Yes, there is a BIOS switch, but unfortunately one can only choose
between "Switchable Graphics" (both cards active ) and "internal
graphics " (only sandy graphics active).
I can't understand why they removed the option to use only the AMD card.

I was under the impression that only the W520 with its 3-mode Quadro Optimus
had one.

AMD has been begging OEMs to include as much of a switch as possible for
BACON laptops.

HP offers a Forced Mode BIOS options for their muxless Intel+Radeon dv6t laptops.

But that was only after a huge outcry.
