Ubuntu 11.10 problem

Hi, guys!

I've tried to use both methods (acpi_call and byo-switcheroo) on my
laptop with Ubuntu 11.10, but when I call

echo OFF > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch

command in terminal I get this error:

bash: /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch: Permission denied

What is the problem? Why the command doesn't work?
