Hello, everybody.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 3160us with 4250 and 5650 ATI cards.

Gareth told me, I tried last Catalyst driver version (11.11), but it 
doesn't work (hang on boot). Neither 11.7, nor 11.8, nor 11.9.

I uninstall proprietary drivers and tried to use vgaswitcheroo... the 
only way that I found to turn off the integrated card (4250) was to boot 
in recovery mode and, there, switch to discrete. But... when I reboot, 
I've only got a blank screen. Nothing else. I could never boot with the 
discrete. Only in Windows 7.

What should I do to debug it? Can anybody help me?

Hey, man. Thanks for the response. I just tried 11.11 drivers... but
it's the same (some Ubuntu booting text on black background when
booting, no X). I reported here: http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=334
