Re: Hack to get Lenovo IdeaPad Y470/Y570 working with bbswitch/bumblebee/nvidia/nouveau

 

If you have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y470 or Lenovo IdeaPad Y570, you are affected
for sure. This
hack does **not** work for other machines as the models are hardcoded. As
for ACPI in
general, do not set either of the boot options noacpi, pci=noacpi or
anything that disabled
ACPI.
