Ok, seems like it is connecting to the device,

sending the command,

but it is not getting a reply :-(.
Maybe the tracker is just not ready. Can you try it again, but make sure
that the blue led is flickering before running igotu2gpx. Blue
flickering means the tracker is sending NMEA data, which also means it
should accept commands.

Bug description:
running igotu2gpx 0.2.1 has a few results - none of them appear to work. The enclosed files show the output from igotu2gpx info -v - the verbose output and the crash report. Below is the data from system profiler showing USB connectivity:
