[Bug 385385] Re: Unable to connect to gps tracker
Hmm, weird. Could you try doing it as root with "sudo igotu2gpx ..."? One reason could be that another kernel driver uses the device, but this should be handled in the code, and a different error message is given in this case. Another reason could be that the device is not available. Could you also try to
- connect the tracker,
- wait until the blue light is flashing regularly, and
- start igotu2gpx info -v
which is a sequence that works normally.

Bug description:
When trying to locate my GT-120 (lsusb) : Bus 005 Device 005: ID 0df7:0900 Mobile Action Technology, Inc.
But trying to use the GUI or by typing igotu2gpx info, I get the following answer : Unable to connect to gps tracker: Unable to claim interface 0 on device 0df7:0900
I use GNU/Linux Ubuntu 9.04, Kernel 2.6.28-11-generic
