Michael Hofmann proposed the following answer:
There is now support for purge of GT120 and GT200 loggers in trunk (a
new release should be coming in the following days), and the saved GPX
files contain the trackpoints split into multiple tracks. There is still
no way to save one of the tracks though :-(.
