Sebastian,

The latest version of mysql51-5.1.49-3.ius only conflicts with psa < 9.5
.. and also includes the mysql51-psa-compat package which should allow
plesk to see 'mysql' as being installed.

Bug description:
same like  #583485 Incompatible with Plesk (PSA) but for mysql51
IUS packages, specifically mysqlXX are incompatible with Plesk in that plesk is only looking for the package named 'mysql' ... and not 'what provides mysql'. This means when replacing mysql with mysql51 plesk will be removed from the system.
