I am getting this same error with the x86_64 repo... However I haven't
seen how to apply the fix. Is there instructions somewhere on how I can
get the fix?

My Process on a fresh CentOS 5.5 install:

[root@ve yum.repos.d]# rpm -Uvh http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/5.5/x86_64/epel-release-1-1.ius.el5.noarch.rpm
