  DESCRIPTION: PHP 5.3 mysql, mysqli and PDO/mysql extensions compiled against native PHP MySQL client library called mysqlnd.
  REASON: The native MySQL driver for PHP should provide a slightly better performance compared to the shared MySQL client library. No additional source code is needed to the repository as mysqlnd is bundled to PHP 5.3 source. <http://php.net/mysqlnd>
