[Bug 1010874] Re: PECL mysqlnd_ms a read/write splitter for mysqlnd

Hello Lars,

Thank you very much for testing this out!

I would be more than happy to add a example configuration to /usr/share/doc,
given it is just that a example documentation with all configuration present.

However I would not add the .json file to /etc/php/php.d as it is not a PHP module,
I believe having example documentation and leaving it to the user to be the best approach for this.

A quick note, this package was taken from Remi's repo, I'm pretty confident he handled the
construction to a Fedora (and IUS) specification.

p.s. There was a issue with the -devel package in release .1, release .2
will be pushed on tonights sync.

Title:
  PECL mysqlnd_ms a read/write splitter for mysqlnd

Status in IUS Community Project:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
As php54-mysqlnd is now available in IUS, it would be nice if you
  could build PECL mysqlnd_ms

  http://pecl.php.net/package/mysqlnd_ms

It allows to split read (select) from other sql statements and send them to replication slaves.
It's transparent for application code, as long as you are happy with sticking to master, after first non-select statement. It allows to overwrite that behavior with comments in sql statements.

  Ralf
