I've added a build of php53u-eaccelerator-0.9.6.1-17.ius to IUS stable,
this build is built against the IUS 5.3.16 rpms:

$ rpm -qp http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/5/x86_64/php53u-eaccelerator-0.9.6.1-17.ius.el5.x86_64.rpm --requires | grep common
php53u-common = 5.3.16

Let me know if you have any other issues.

  Hi,

  I get this error, when I try to do yum update from PHP 5.3.15 to PHP
  5.3.16:

  php53u-eaccelerator-0.9.6.1-16.ius.el5.x86_64 from installed has depsolving problems
    --> Missing Dependency: php53u-common = 5.3.15 is needed by package php53u-eaccelerator-0.9.6.1-16.ius.el5.x86_64 (installed)
  Error: Missing Dependency: php53u-common = 5.3.15 is needed by package php53u-eaccelerator-0.9.6.1-16.ius.el5.x86_64 (installed)
   You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

  I think is similar to bug #1020333.
