Hello Wiza,

The fix for this issue will be pushed with php55u-5.5.5-2.ius.  This
version will also include the switch from the non free software version
of json to jsonc.  See the WL: php 5.5 bug[0] for more details about
that change.

I have built the php55u-5.5.5-2.ius packages and have tagged them
testing-candidate.  It will be in placed in the testing repos tonight
and can take around 24 hours to hit all the mirrors.

Please let us know if this release fixes the issues with php54-fpm.

Title:
  incorrect php55u-fpm settings

Status in IUS Community Project:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Wiza from IRC reported a few setting that need to be correct for
  php55u-fpm.  The /var/run/php-fpm directory is not getting created.
  The php-fpm.conf need to get updated with the correct location for the
  pid and daemonize to yes.

  I will work on getting some updated packages into the testing repo.
