Thanks but there's a problem.

memcached is not showing as a registered session handler in phpinfo().
The session.save_handler and save_path directives show up with the
values specified in the ini files but at the top of the session block in
the output of phpinfo the Registered save handlers line shows only files
and user.

My application is also unable to start a session.

According to /var/log/httpd/error_log it's a missing dependency:
PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/memcached.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/memcached.so: undefined symbol: php_json_decode_ex in Unknown on line 0

Good news is that igbinary is showing up as a registered serializer.

Before installation from ius-testing I removed the igbinary module I'd
installed via pecl and the current php55u-pecl-memcached from ius-dev.
