Hello Alex,

Thanks for taking the time to submit this request. With a new package
requests, we evaluate if it would be a good fit for IUS and if it is
maintainable with our current resources.  The request does fix within
the scope of IUS and we have packaged previous versions.  I will have a
look to see how much has changed with git and its maintainable.

Also note, maintaining our current set of RPMs do take priority over new
package requests.

Bug description:
  DESCRIPTION: Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control
  system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-
  level operations and full access to internals.

  REASON:
  Centos 6 still only provides 1.7.x version of git.
  Centos 7 provides 1.8.3 version.

  At the moment latest git release is 2.1.3.
  Would be nice to have an RPM, and take advantage of new features.
