The Ubuntu IVI Remix is based on the Ubuntu Core<http://www.canonical.com/engineering-services/ubuntu-core>, a sub set of Ubuntu technologies suited for the next generation of Internet-enabled embedded devices such as IVI systems. The platform is available for both the Intel® Atom^(TM) processor and ARM-based architectures, allowing software development to easily target platforms using either architecture. The Ubuntu IVI Remix also supports Ubuntu One, a personal cloud service that enables users to access their personal media and stream their music from anywhere in the world.

To help our key partners get up and running we could make you a member of the Ubuntu Core Partner program. This would allow access to technical resources as you get the Ubuntu IVI remix running on your platform. Also access to key marketing programs. There are 2 tiers to this program both with a different fee structure. Please let us know if you are interested in becoming an Ubuntu Core Partner.
