Beta 2 Ubuntu IVI Remix Released

We are pleased to announce the Beta 2 release of the Ubuntu IVI (In VehicleInfotainment) Remix.


This release supports X86 and the Freescale Sabre ARD (rev B) platform.

The Ubuntu IVI Remix is based on UbuntuCore<http://www.canonical.com/engineering-services/ubuntu-core>, a subset ofUbuntu technologies suited for the next generation of Internet-enabled embeddeddevices such as IVI systems. The platform is available for both the Intel®Atom^(TM) processor and ARM-based architectures, allowing software developmentto easily target platforms using either architecture. The Ubuntu IVI Remix alsosupports Ubuntu One, a personal cloud service that enables users to access theirpersonal media and stream their music from anywhere in the world.
