  add general purpose DetectEvent(TGeoManager*, KVEvent*, TVector3* = 0)
  method
  to propagate particles through a geometry and calculate their energy
  losses in any TGeoMaterial which has the same name/title as a
  material described by the range table. energy losses in each volume
  are stored in particle's parameter list with name of each volume.
