[Bug 1181011] Re: Breakages of wireless connection on laptop acer aspire v3-551 running ubuntu 13.04
Anton Kozlovsky, as per http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an
update is available for your BIOS (1.07). If you update to this, does it
change anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
168c:0034 Breakages of wireless connection on laptop acer aspire
v3-551 running ubuntu 13.04
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I have the laptop acer aspire v3-551 running Ubuntu 13.04. There is a
wireless connection problem. When i log in in the system the
connection is working. But it works just a 20 minutes and then falling
down. To get up it I have to switch of and then on wifi-adapter by
using functional buttons. Then the connection works very unstable. It
can fall down after 5 min of work or after 20, or even immediately
after connection.
