[Bug 1180182] Re: 16GB Class 10 Sony SD card that worked in 12.04 now fails in 13.04

Thank you for your thoughts, but I don't NEED a backport to a release
prior to Saucy. Certainly don't backport on account of me!

Whether it should be mark as Status Invalid is up-to-you; I don't know
enough of the practice of how bug reports like that is dealt with to
comment. But certainly the bug is real :-), but fixed subsequently.

Thanks again for looking into it and etc.

Title:
16GB Class 10 Sony SD card that worked in 12.04 now fails in 13.04

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 then 13.04. A class 10 Sony SD 16GB
card that worked on 12.04 now fails to read on 13.04. I am not sure if
12.10 has the problem because I did not use the Sony SD card on 12.10.

On 13.04, two other Kodak 1GB SD card worked fine on 13.04 and they
  worked fine before on 12.04.

On 12.04, the 16GB automounts fine and I am also able to read and
write it fine. So on 13.04, automount does not work, and certainly I
can't tell if I can read or write to it.

dmesg displays the following several times:

mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card
