Bug description:
  The IPMI device is a custom module that adds support for the modified
  Intel management engine ipmi stack included by intel for this
  platform.

  $ ipmitool channel info
  Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 or /dev/ipmidev/0: No such file or directory

  # modprobe ipmi_si
  FATAL: Error inserting ipmi_si (/lib/modules/3.2.0-38-generic/kernel/drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_si.ko): No such device
