you are using a spinoff not provided by the official Ubuntu
repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix
your particular bug. Thanks!

Title:
  no sound on toshiba satellite L30

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  there is a problem with linux where the speakers on a toshiba
  satellite PSL30A-00100E won't work, however the headphones do.

  I have experienced this problem in in version 10.04, 11.10, 12.04. (I
  haven't used Quantal on this laptop yet)
