Is it in today 3.8.0-27.40? From the changelogs it doesn't look like.
Can anyone confirm if there is a SRU process in progress for this?

Bug description:
There is a known coherency bug in kernels after 3.7 affecting all
intel gen4 hardware.
Bug has been patched in devel kernel and flagged for inclusion in
3.10.1.
Please, let this patch be available on ubuntu raring 3.8 series.

drm/i915: Only clear write-domains after a successful wait-seqno
which affects v3.7+.

This bug is quite disturbing as it causes large bitmaps to be rendered incorrectly in many apps like firefox, libreoffice, etc.
Furthermore, it may be the cause of the occasional incorrect rendering of some chars reported in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55500
