Bug description:
  Kernel always crashes on attempt to scan /usr with Avira AntiVir.

  1. Context

  1.1. I have two mutually independent installations of KUbuntu 12.x: on a hard drive of PC and on a flash drive.
  1.2. Updates mentioned below are the updates both for an OS and for Avira AntiVir (of all its components except keys).

  1.3. Information about software:

  2. Chronology

  2.1. Initially there was no such problem some time before (about 1 month before now).
  2.2. Then the problem appears (probably, after an update) both for the installation on a PC and for the installation on a flash drive.
  2.3. Several weeks later (now) the problem disappears (after an update) for the installation on a PC. But for the installation on the flash drive problem still always occurs on any attempt to scan "/usr" (even after an update).

  3.1. Open a console.
  3.2. sudo avscan --batch -s /usr
  3.3. Wait (scan never completes).
