Title:
  Problem with Ubuntu 13.04

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Hi Team,

I have a problem with my Ubuntu 13.04.

All was well until I updated some Service Pack and Advanced System
Care application for the Windows XP Operating System on the same
  computer.

I had stopped using Windows XP after liking Ubuntu 13.04 so much.

Then, for some reason I thought of logging into XP just to ensure that
  everything was well.

However after those updates Ubuntu 13.04 has got corrupted.

I am not a technically familiar person so attaching photos I captured
(It actually does not allow me to do anything post that screen). I
have to manually restart the computer. Again after logging in it only
stays for a minute or two. Then it crashes.

Please advice how I should be proceeding with the troubleshooting.

  I tried:
  sudo apt-get upgate
  sudo apt-get upgrade -d
  sudo apt-get autoclean

Also, I tried the recovery option however it does not help.

  Please help me.

  Sincerely,
  Prabhath MP

  Bangalore, India
