  Fresh install of the 2013-02-23 13.04 daily image. BIOS boot (but it
  has occurred as well on native EFI boot). No additional packages
  installed.

  MacBook model is the mid-2012 Retina MacBook Pro 15" (2.6GHz i7, 512GB
  SSD, 16GB RAM) triple booting Windows 7, OS X 10.8 and Ubuntu 13.04.
