regarding this being fixed with a BIOS update. For future reference you
can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status

Bug description:
I am using powerstat on a samsung u3c notebook with bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1040557 on Ubuntu 3.5.0-22.34~precise1-generic 3.5.7.2 and get the following message:
"Machine does not have a battery, cannot run the test."
even though I am running the laptop on battery!
