[Bug 1104506] Re: Lexar JumpDrive S70 32GB takes too long to open
peterzay, it would appear this issue is BIOS driven, which wouldn't be
something that can be further addressed given it's now almost near
immediate. Would it be ok if we close this report as Status Invalid?
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Incomplete

Title:
Lexar JumpDrive S70 32GB takes too long to open
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
With disk utility, I create an encrypted USB2 flash drive.
When I plug the drive into a USB2 socket, it can take up to 10 seconds
for the password window to display.
Ten seconds may not sound like much, but this process is usually near
instantaneous.
A 16GB Kingston Data Traveler, also encrypted, works fine.
This is my first Lexar and first 32GB size for a flash drive.
