[Bug 1208976] Re: Wireless card stopped working after last kernel upgrade on thinkpad x1 carbon laptop

Can you see if the iwlwifi module can be loaded? This can be done by running:
 sudo modprobe -v iwlwifi

We can perform a kernel bisect to identify the commit that introduced
this regression. Can you test the following kernels and post back the
first that exhibits this bug:

3.8.13.2: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.13.2-raring/
3.8.13.3: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.13.3-raring/
3.8.13.4: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.13.4-raring/

You don't have to test every kernel, just up to the first one that has
the bug.

It might also be good to test the latest 3.8 upstream kernel to see if this is already fixed:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8.13.6-raring/
