[Bug 1085734] Re: Cannot mount a cell phone

Avatar, as per
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P6T_SE/#support_Download_5 an update is
available for your BIOS (0906). If you update to this, does it change
anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  Cannot mount a cell phone

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In 12.04 I had no problem when connecting my phone to the USB port,
  all the folders appeared automatically. After upgrading to 12.10 I
  always get the error "folder contents could not be displayed. Cannot
  find «3E21-0001». Maybe it was deleted recently". Using Windows I can
  access my phone without problem.
