[Bug 1072834] Re: Cypress trackpad generates false taps very frequently

Dima Ryazanov, as per
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/xps-13-l321x an
update is available for your BIOS (A08). If you update to this, does it
change anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  Cypress trackpad generates false taps very frequently

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I use two-finger scrolling, it often causes the Unity dashboard to pop up - presumably because it detected a four-finger tap. This makes the trackpad almost unusable.
  I've also seen a single tap turn into double tap (so it scrolls instead of moving the mouse). Sometimes, when I touch the trackpad and hold it still, the mouse pointer keeps on jumping around by a few pixels - I'm assuming it's related.
