[Bug 1104506] Re: 05dc:a201 [Dell Inspiron 660] Lexar JumpDrive S70 32GB intermittently takes 12 seconds to open
The same test on Ubuntu 10.04.4 took 14 secs to display the password
screen. So the problem already existed back then.
The most striking feature about this test was the inability of this
version of Ubuntu to properly handle the graphics function at a modern
(high) screen resolution.

Title:
05dc:a201 [Dell Inspiron 660] Lexar JumpDrive S70 32GB intermittently
takes 12 seconds to open
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
With disk utility, I create an encrypted USB2 flash drive.
When I plug the drive into a USB2 socket, it can take up to 10 seconds
for the password window to display.
Ten seconds may not sound like much, but this process is usually near
instantaneous.
A 16GB Kingston Data Traveler, also encrypted, works fine.
This is my first Lexar and first 32GB size for a flash drive.
