[Bug 1085733] Re: Kubuntu 12.10 fails to boot with kernel > 3.5.x

 

Danijel Forstneric, if you remove kernel parameter radeon.modeset=0 are
you then able to boot in > 3.5.x kernels?

  [Expected Behaviour]
  Kubuntu should boot normally without any problems.
  
  [Actual Behaviour]
  Whenever I want to boot my Kubuntu with any kernel > 3.5.x I get stuck with the black screen and Kubuntu fails to boot.
  The newest kernel I tried is 3.7.0-030700rc2.
