Title:
[Macbook Pro 6,2] Suspend to RAM fails (non-free: nvidia wl)

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
After upgrading to 12.10 suspend to RAM does not work reliably any
  longer.

  Linux mbp 3.5.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 19 10:26:51 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  (on Macbook Pro 6,2)

  Symptoms:

Closing the lid does not always lead to suspended state.

  Usually upowerd stops before this.

Suspend from the menu works fine.

Resume does not always bring a logon dialog either.
