an update is available for your BIOS (A12). If you update to this, does
it change anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

  Network manager problems with downgrade and update

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  after i upgraded from ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 i have problems with the network manager and connecting to a network then to fix the problem i had to do the following: please see link

  but after doing the above ( see link ) i get error broken count >0
  this usually means that your installed packages have unmet
  dependencies .
