If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:

  On my Dell Inspiron M301Z, there is a built-in SD card reader, but it
  doesn't work.
  
- There is a bug report for that issue, but it was closes as fixed some time ago (bug #698006), but now the bug is back for me.
