Title:
  Something relating to timer interrupts

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
At first, I raised this issue:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1186621
this is the main symptom of my problem.

Then, after some searching around, I came across this
http://askubuntu.com/a/3078/13879 which sounds like a reasonable cause
to my current problem. I'm not sure if it is a genuine bug, or just
some configuration issue, as I was following a few guides to get some
jack stuff working, and edited a few config files etc.
