Re: [Bug 1028840] Re: Right click on Asus N56VM not recognised

Hi

I'm not sure of my BIOS version (strictly speaking its not really BIOS
anymore, rather EFI). I've managed to mess up my EFI partition at some
stage so windows doesn't work anymore, so can't update bios settings.

Here's the output of dmidecode:
ase-date
N56VM.206
04/13/2012

Title:
Right click on Asus N56VM not recognised

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The standard trackpad on the Asus N56VM comes with 2 buttons
underneath the trackpad (like the MBP machines). The right click,
however, is not recognised and acts as a left click. I asked about
  that (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/204117) but it
seems its a driver issue. xev for left and right click returns the
  same button.
