Title:
Function keys - Wireless function key can't turn the wireless back on.

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  CID: 201206-11376 Asus X55A

The wireless key on this system is quite unstable, and not working as
  expected.

Sometimes it work, but sometimes it does not, and sometimes it will take a long time to bring the wireless back.
Along with bug #1178545, I think it will be difficult for users to get wireless work.

Running update can't solve this problem.

  Output with rfkill list:

  1. After boot, before clicking "Enable Wireless" (no wireless connection)
  0: phy0: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: yes
  	Hard blocked: no
  1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: no
  	Hard blocked: no

  2. After clicking "Enable Wireless" (wireless connection established)
  0: phy0: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: no
  	Hard blocked: no
  1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: no
  	Hard blocked: no

  3. Press the wireless key, wireless disabled (no wireless connection)
  0: phy0: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: yes
  	Hard blocked: no
  1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: yes
  	Hard blocked: no

4.Press the wireless key, wireless still disabled, "Enable Wireless" is not available.
  ubuntu@201206-11376:~$ rfkill list
  0: phy0: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: no
  	Hard blocked: yes
  1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: no
  	Hard blocked: no

5.Press the wireless key again, result same as 4
  0: phy0: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: yes
  	Hard blocked: yes
  1: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
  	Soft blocked: yes
  	Hard blocked: no

After that, pressing it multiple times still can't bring wireless
  back.
