[Bug 1033319] Re: 8086:008a Centrino 1030/iwlwifi disconnects ~30 s from N access points
Andy Pascall, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest
development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:
apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)

Title:
8086:008a Centrino 1030/iwlwifi disconnects ~30 s from N access points
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Just got a new computer with a centrino N 1030 wireless card. Ubuntu
uses the iwlwifi driver with it.
When I am connected to an 802.11N access point, the wireless stops
working about every 30 seconds, for about 30 seconds. The connection
doesn't disconnect, it just stops working.
WORKAROUND: If I'm on a G access point, or force a G connection,
everything is fine.
