Bug description:
I can't report this with ubuntu bug because:
$ ubuntu-bug
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
so here's my best description:
Sometimes, within a few minutes of boot, my usb-connected mouse and
keyboard still stop working. For the mouse, it just stops but for the
keyboard it breaks after a key down event which leaves whatever key
you pressed repeating for ever (which makes it quite hard to reboot!).
Quite often I will know this is about to happen because the media keys
and scroll wheel on the keyboard fail to work for a while before the
eventual failure.
I see this in the syslog:
