Christopher, the web page of that notebook is

although that page is in Spanish.

The computer is an OKI NB0508, although basically is a re-badged Quanta
TW8, that was sold with Ubuntu preinstalled.

A copy of the manual for that family of notebooks (although not exactly for that model of notebook) can be found in http://www.electromanuals.org/manuales/oki/MANUAL_tcm3-73358.pdf
in several languages, including English.

There should be a technical information page for the Quanta TW8 model,
although I haven't find it after searching a lot.

Title:
   kernel 3.8.0-29 does not detect usb memories; but 3.8.0-27 detects
  them

Bug description:
  I updated the kernel from 3.8.0-27 to 3.8.0-29, I rebooted,  the
  3.8.0-29 kernel was used, and...  two usb memories were no longer
  detected.

  I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-27 kernel, then both usb memories were
  detected.

  I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-29 kernel again, then both usb memories
  were *not* detected.

  I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-27 kernel, then both usb memories were
  detected.
