[Bug 964914] Re: [oneiric][i915] X driver randomly freezes with render/page table errors.
James78, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest
development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:
apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>
** Tags added: latest-bios-a08

Title:
[oneiric][i915] X driver randomly freezes with render/page table
errors.
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Using my computer, I randomly get errors, and the entire computer
freezes up. Even the alt+sysrq keys can't be used for a clean
shutdown.
All I know is, that this seems to happen when I'm using the native
flash player (64bit version), and scroll down the page (not sure if
scrolling has anything to do with it). Specifically on the KhanAcademy
site.
Error below:
