[Bug 1412042] Re: Fan too loud while CPU idle, Toshiba

 

** Description changed:

  On Windows 8.1, fan is NOT loud. On Ubuntu 14.04x64, fan is always too
  loud (30 minutes after boot and after). BIOS is already updated. Update:
- If battery only, fan quiet. If main power, fan too loud.
+ If battery power only, fan quiet for more time.
  
  I was hoping it was my LCD cooling_device4, but that has current cooling
  state 100 even when fan is quiet.
