Title:
  linux-image-3.16.0-28-generic disables the USB and Ethernet ports

Bug description:
  Hi all ,

   1) Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS

   2) package : linux-image-3.16.0-28-generic (Ubuntu
  3.16.0-28.38~14.04.1-generic 3.16.7-ckt1)

   3) Normal operation of my system

   4)  After installation of linux-image-3.16.0-28-generic package and
  reboot all USB and Ethernet ports were disabled and also system had
  different resolution. Same issue was faced in other systems.

  I uninstalled linux-image-3.16.0-28-generic with the help of PS2
  keyboard and  everything became normal.
