PascalC, did this problem not occur in a release prior to Utopic?
As well, could you please test the latest mainline kernel 3.19-rc6 and
advise to the results?

Bug description:
when using firefox Hello videochat application, the webcam crashes.
Step to reproduce:
1. start firefox Hello
2. click on start a conversation
3. the webcam starts and hello displays the video
4. just wait until the webcam disconnects
then the following appear in the syslog:
